Caribbean Stud Poker Tips

  1. Do not fold when you have 2 pair or better.
  2. Avoid playing the progressive- Do not play the progressive bet if the jackpot is low. But if the jackpot is high, it might be worth it to you. If your personality is such that even a low jackpot gives you the thrill then go ahead and play the progressive bet.
Point to note-If a flush is paying $100 on a $1 bet, but you're only going to see a flush once ever 526 hands, how good a bet is that?
  3. If you have nothing, fold. - This is a lose-lose situation and the only way you can win is if the dealer has nothing, and your bet is returned to you. That's no bet.
  4. Keep in mind that if you do play the progressive, you win even if the dealer doesn't qualify.
